Doha Grand Heritage Doha Hotel and Spa participated in a blood donating campaign for a second year in a row. For the duration of one day, staff members of the hotel were able to provide blood donations to Hamad Medical Corporation’s blood bank.
Two convoys from Hamad Hospital to Grand Heritage Doha Hotel and Spa were organized, where the hotel’s staff were informed on the effects and benefits of blood donations through a presentation. The employees were also briefed on the importance of this medical procedure and how it contributes to saving lives of those carrying blood diseases, as well as those who need blood during surgery.
Commenting on the blood donations, Zeid Talhami, Director of Sales & Marketing said: “Once again, Grand Heritage Doha Hotel and Spa is honoured to contribute to this campaign for the second consecutive year. The hotel is delighted to cooperate with Hamad Medical Corporation on this matter, and confirms that this contribution on behalf of its staff signifies Grand Heritage family’s commitment to help and support the local community.
