DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Tuesday, adding 23.36 points or 0.25 percent to advance to 9,310.54 points from 9,287.18 on Monday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 13,086,910 from 15,948,853 on Monday and the value of shares decreased to QR402,170,268.47 from QR475,499,384.27 Monday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.22 percent to QR149.00, Doha Insurance rose 2.69 percent to QR26.70, United Development Company gained 1.93 percent to QR22.68 and National Leasing up by 0.41 percent to QR37.15.
The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.59 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 0.42 points.
The industrial sector lost 0.43 points while insurance sector rose 1.64 points. (QNA)
