Doha: About 2,362 residents in Qatar embraced Islam between April 2013 and April this year, according to statistics from Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Centre.
A statement yesterday said 1,278 men and 1,084 women belonged to over 60 nationalities. The centre held multilateral education programmes for them.
