DOHA: The Purchasing and Contracts Department of Qatar Petroleum will be hosting the ‘Suppliers and Contractors Forum’ under the patronage of H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman and Managing Director of QP, today at the Qatar National Convention Center, said a press statement yesterday.
The forum will be attended by QP officials and by representatives of the corporation’s local and international suppliers and contractors.
Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Mulla, Corporate Manager of QP’s Purchasing and Contracts Department, will deliver the keynote address. Four presentations focusing on the vendor e-registration, major projects and preferred vendor lists, procurement management, as well as compliance and performance matters will also be held.
