Qatar has become a Top Tier market for ICT investment in the Middle East, with forecast growth of a staggering 24.5 percent during the current year.
One swift reaction to this news has been the launch of the series of Qatar Big Data & Analytics Workshops, which take place at the Marriott Hotel Doha on June 7 and 8 – each designed to reinforce the importance of new Qatari IT investment into Business Intelligence and Big Data.
“Our team of international specialists will cover vital areas of concern such as national security, banking, oil and gas, healthcare and retail – with a strong focus on Data Science and Visualisation,” said Kumar Ramanujam, TMC Director of Conferences.
Binu M R, Vice President, Mannai Software Division, commented: “Mannai is committed towards serving the growing demand of monetising ‘Big Data’ in the region and has invested in the Oracle Big Data Appliance X-5 machine which could be used for solution prototyping for a variety of customers across verticals. We are building a strong eco-system of Big Data specialised partners and service providers, in order to offer turn-key solutions to our customers.”
The training will consist of master-classes created to help the organizations to understand this complex technology’s challenges and rewards.
