Kashmir - Two Indian soldiers were killed and four injured after militants ambushed an army convoy in India-administered Kashmir on Saturday.
The insurgents opened heavy gunfire on the vehicles near the Qazigund area and fled from the scene minutes later, army officials said.
Six soldiers injured in the attack were moved to an army hospital where two succumbed to gunshot injuries.
The area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched for the militants who carried out the attack.
