Algiers- The Algerian army on Friday killed two gunmen, south of Algiers.
The Algerian Defense Ministry said in a statement today that its elements killed two terrorists, describing them as "dangerous" in the search and combing the town of "Bougara", 40 km south of Algiers .. adding that the
process enabled the seizure of quantities of weapons and ammunition.
The statement noted that the operation came two days after the patrol of the National Gendarmerie were shot by an armed group in "Wad Juma" district .
The ministry confirmed that this attack, which was claimed by ISIS resulted in light injury of four members of the patrol.
