Doha, Qatar: The first and second day of Eid Al-Adha will feature various cultural shows and awareness programs at Barwa Workers Sports Complex in Al Khor and Asian Town.
The Ministry of Interior announced this while inviting community members to its Eid Al Adha prayer and celebrations.
Eid Al-Adha prayer (Salat) will be held at Asian Town Cricket Stadium parking in Doha Industrial Area, with members of the community requested to arrive before 4:15am with wudhu.
Cultural activities will take place on the first and second day of Eid from 4:30pm to 9:30pm at Barwa Workers Sports Complex - Al Khor and Asian Town. Musical shows accompanied by orchestra, performances by school students and community teams, gifts through a draw, health checkups by private clinics, and safety and health awareness workshops are some of the activities lined up as part of the Eid celebrations.
There is another mega cultural show organized by Barwa Workers Support and Insurance Fund at Barwa Al Baraha Workers Accommodation in Doha Industrial Area which will continue from 5pm until 9pm and artists specially flown from Pakistan will be presenting various cultural and musical shows.
The organising committee added that entry to the event is free for all.
