DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 4.63 points or 0.05 percent to advance to 9,372.17 points from 9,367.54 Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 2,886,433 from 3,260,049 on Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR184,128,374.62 from QR673,271,229.87 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Commercial Bank of Qatar which was up 0.57 percent to QR70.90, Doha Bank rose 0.96 percent to QR47.30, Barwa Real Estate gained 0.19 percent to QR26.60 and Gulf International up by 0.60 percent to QR41.85.
The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.20 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.03 points.
The industrial sector was dropped 0.16 points while insurance sector added 0.32 points. (QNA)
