Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent yesterday a cable of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Belarus on the occasion of the anniversary of his country’s Independence Day.
Doha: Qatar is set to participate in the Dubai International Holy Quran Award Contest represented by Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Hamri, who competes in the category of memorising the whole Quran with Tajweed. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Hamri has won first prize in Algeria’s International Holy Quran Award Contest and second prize in Egypt’s International Holy Quran Award. He also came first first place in Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani Competition for the Holy Quran recitation.
Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) Managing Director Dr Mariam Abdulmalik has issued decisions appointing and promoting six new managers. Al Anoud Saad Al Nuaimi was appointed manager of employee affairs, Abdullah Mohamed Al Mansouri as manager of public services and accommodation, Tariq Al Hakim as manager of labour planning, Saleh Said Al Marri as acting head of accommodation department, Ali Al Khulaifi as acting head of salaries department, and Ebtisam Al Shamsi as acting head of employee relations department.
