In-form Al Arabi of Qatar saw off Taichung Commercial Bank from Chinese Taipei in straight sets 25-19, 25-22, 25-16 to advance to the semi-finals of the SMM 2017 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship at the Ninh Binh Gym in Vietnam.
German Grozer Gyorgy proved again to be a great asset for Al Arabi after topscoring for the winning team with 23 points from 18 devastating spikes and five aces, while Mohammed Ibrahim added 13 points. Liu Houng Jie led Taichung Commercial Bank with only eight points.
