Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) benchmark index gained 114.37 points, 1.30 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 8,936.52 points yesterday. The volume of shares traded decreased to 9.82 million from 14.29 million on Sunday and the value of shares decreased QR290.70m from QR391.68m on Sunday.
Out of the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading yesterday. Of these 28 gained and 10 companies closed lower yesterday, while three remained unchanged, reports QNA. Indices of six sectors ended in green and remained one sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index gained 1.30 to 14,986.01 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added 0.44 percent to 3.503.19 points and QSE All Share Index increased 1.05 percent to 2,541.88 points.
