Rise in humidity until middle of this week: QMD

Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), on its latest weather update, stated that there will be chances of mist to fog formation at some places in the country.

In a statement on Twitter, QMD also said that "the country is expected to witness a noticeable rise in relative humidity until the middle of this week due to a shift in wind direction to Easterly ranging in speed from light to moderate at times."

Due to this weather condition, chances of misty to foggy conditions is also likely to occur in some areas during late night and early morning, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 6 to July 7. 

Low horizontal visibility to less than 2 kilometres is also expected. 

QMD also urged all citizens and residents to be careful during this weather condition.
