BEIJING: All 11 miners buried in a rainstorm-triggered landslide are confirmed dead as the last body was retrieved on Wednesday night, said the rescue headquarters.
The last body of the 11 workers of a mine in Yunyang County, Chongqing Municipality.
They were moving from their dormitories to a safe area when the landslide took place.
Rainstorms pounded the county, with a precipitation of more than 300mm in some townships, China's News Agency Xinhua.
The bad weather has left 27 dead and five missing in Yunyang. (QNA)
