DOHA: Sidra Medical and Research Center has partnered with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG) to host a joint meeting on ‘Important Topics in Obstetrics and Gynecology’ from November 30 to December 2, 2014.
Developed as part of the Sidra Symposia Series, a leading medical education forum in Qatar, this will be the first time RCOG has supported an event in Qatar. The aim of the symposium is not only to inform and educate the medical community but to also stimulate a discussion with international experts about the future of obstetrics and gynaecology and the profession’s development in the region.
The Royal College and its members, who make up over 12,000 healthcare professionals and span over 100 countries, work to promote standards of care in obstetrics and gynaecology through postgraduate medical education and training, publication of clinical guidelines and reports on aspects of the specialty and service provision.
The three-day program will feature a series of special lectures, interactive panel discussions and hands-on workshops.
