DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) said on Thursday that it will partially close a 250-metre stretch on the southbound (From North to Doha) carriageway of Al Shamal Road on October 9 and 10.
Three lanes will be closed and one lane will remain open to traffic.
The closure will be in the vicinity of Izghawa interchange at KM 4 (in front of North Gate Mall)
Motorists can use the alternative roads. Those coming from Al Shamal and heading towards Doha at Al Kharaitiyat interchange can turn left to Al Ebb Street, then take the right turn to the Arab League Street or turn right at Al Kharaitiyat interchange then left to Zekreet Street.
