Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality, recently announced the launch of a new service ‘issuing advertising licences through single window services platform’.
The initiative aims at improving and developing the business services system, facilitating, and speeding their implementation, which contributes to encouraging investment and trade in the country.
In a press conference on Monday, the MoCI indicated that the new service allows corporates and investors to obtain advertising licenses, whether temporary, permanent, or annual for the concerned authorities to advertise through the billboards on the streets, buildings, or cars, within a period not exceeding three days, by submitting the application through the single window website www.sw.gov.qa and attaching the required documents.
The ‘advertising licenses’ service comes as a continuation of the MoCI’s efforts to develop the services provided to the private sector aimed at developing commercial business procedures in the country and unifying the ministries’ procedures for both citizens and investors through a single service window.
