Students participate as part of the QU eSports Club Welcome Event
Doha: Qatar University’s (QU) eSports Club hosted a welcome event for male students. The event was carried out to bring the male gaming community together, and help them know one another to grow the community.
This also helped the leadership team understand the gaming interests of the students. This event was sponsored by Ooredoo Nation.
Syed Hamad Abbas, President of the QU eSports Club said, “The event was truly a big success. We were able to gather a lot of attention of the male gamers at QU and convey our objective as a club. All the effort we put in to organise the event was not in vain, as more than a 100 students showed up. We had a variety of games to cater to everyone’s interest as much as possible, and also encouraged students to bring their own collections if they would like to talk about them. We look forward to even bigger events in the future.”
