DOHA: The craze for special easy-to-remember numbers is not restricted to individuals alone. The state health authorities also seem to be bitten by the magical numbers bug — going by a report appearing in local Arabic daily Al Arab, which said yesterday that the much-trumpeted Wakrah Hospital (to be the biggest hospital in the country) is to be inaugurated on 12/12/12. There were media reports earlier that the management of the New Doha International Airport had similar plans (to open the first phase) which fizzled out as the work is unlikely to be completed in time. It was to be thrown open on 12/12/12 at 12noon—magical numbers indeed!
