QNA

Doha, Qatar: The Nomas Center of the Ministry of Culture organised its second outdoor camp for girls at its headquarters.

This initiative is part of the center’s efforts to strengthen national identity and instil authentic values in young people by offering a well-rounded educational and recreational experience.

On this occasion, Head of the Girls’ Section at the Nomas Center, Maryam Ahmed Al Dosari affirmed that this camp builds upon the success of the first experience held at Al Wakrah Center, noting that the center’s green space was equipped with traditional tents and structures, creating an atmosphere that reflects desert life and its distinctive details.

Al Dosari explained that the camp attracted approximately 60 participants and included a variety of interactive workshops and activities that reflect the richness of Qatari heritage.

These included a traditional kitchen corner, a workshop on Qatari hospitality, workshops specialising in “Sadu” weaving, as well as displays of traditional clothing and games.
