KARACHI: Police claimed to have arrested five suspects allegedly involved in an attack on a school during raids conducted in different parts of the city on Thursday.
The operation was launched in the aftermath of a cracker attack on a school located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city.
The raids were carried out in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Abul Hassan Isphahani Rod, Gabol Town and Sohrab Goth on the basis of information gathered through CCTV footage.
Sources said that all the five suspects were associated with a banded outfit.
Moreover, the provincial authorities have started taking down flags and banners of banned organizations from the city.
