Doha: Due to popular demand, Ooredoo has extended its latest international savings offer, Hala Egypt Key, to enable customers to call loved ones and friends in Egypt at 30 dirhams per minute until March 3. The key was developed after a strong demand from the Egyptian community in Qatar. Subscribers will also be able to call local Ooredoo numbers at 10 dirhams per minute.
Since the launch of the promotion in 2014, Ooredoo has experienced a huge uptake, with customers wanting to enjoy significant savings on offer.
Customers wishing to subscribe can activate the key for QR2 a week by sending SMS ‘EGY’ to 121.
The subscription will automatically renew every week so that customers can continue to enjoy the benefits of subsidised international calling rates. To cancel the service, customers can SMS ‘STOP EGY’ to 121.
The promotion aims to help the expatriate community talk more for less as they stay connected with friends and family in the region on Ooredoo’s bigger and faster network.
Customers can also enjoy similar international saving options with keys for India, Bangladesh and the Philippines, along with International Saver Key for 121 countries.
