Sweden condemns China's 'brutal' snatching of Swedish bookseller

Stockholm: Stockholm on Monday condemned Beijing over the grabbing of its citizen and book publisher Gui Minhai in mainland China while being accompanied by Swedish diplomats after he was released from Chinese detention last year.
"The brutal intervention in January against Swedish support was implemented despite China's repeated assurances that Gui Minhai was a free man at the time," Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom said in a statement and demanded his release.
