Doha: The 35th Principals Conference was organised by the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya on January 14 and 15.
The two-day event was held at The Embassy of India, Riyadh.
The conference was attended by 150 principals of the Central Board of Secondary Education and affiliated schools in the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Moin Akhtar, Counsellor, Embassy of India, addressed the gathering and emphasised imparting quality education as high priority in the CBSE affiliated schools.
Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Director of Academics, CBSE, enriched the session by stressing on the need for maintaining integrity towards the inherent values of the education system. Felicitation of the Gulf and Chapter-wise toppers was another highlight of the day.
The students of Birla Public School were awarded certificates for leading from the front in all streams and all categories in Doha at the CBSE Board Examination 2021-22.

Grade X students were as follows: Farah Nazeer Shees, Nihal Ashik, Mahika Rao. Students from Grade XII were: Shaymanti Bhowmik, Jui Baliga, Mohamed Sahal, Aditya Gupta, Rana Maihar Pratap Singh and Anndria Jino.
