Mashreq-Qatar begins fast account service

DOHA: Mashreq-Qatar has launched ‘Mashreq GO’, a banking service where customers can walk into any Mashreq branch and walk out in just 30 minutes with a Platinum Elite credit card, current account and a Visa debit card, a press statement issued by the Bank said yesterday.

The statement said that under this newly-launched first-of-its-kind service the bank also offers a personal loan (cash) in the account within 24 hours. 

Niranjan Mendonca, Head of Retail Banking at Mashreq-Qatar said: “The Bank is striving for excellence with ever-faster, superior banking services for customer. ‘Mashreq GO’ delivers our customer service promise of banking at the ‘speed of life’. We are proud of this never-done before service, which simplifies financial solutions while offering convenience and flexibility to our customers.”

While ‘Mashreq GO’ offers “unparalleled” speed of delivery, customers can also apply for the Majestic II loan package, which offers customers a guaranteed iPad 4, Samsung S3 Mini or Blackberry when they apply for a particular loan amount. In addition, the Platinum Elite credit card comes loaded with features including free Oryx Lounge access for the cardholder and one guest at Doha International Airport, double Mashreq Points, giving customers free shopping at leading retailers across Doha, discount vouchers worth QR5,000 and much more.
