DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Tuesday 33.58 points or 0.39 percent to 8,480.35 points from the previous closing of 8,513.93.
The volume of shares traded fell to 4,861,450 from 4,994,497 Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR181,800,746.02 from QR286,439,009.30 Monday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.18% to QR170.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.59 percent to QR67.00, Al khalij Commercial Bank fell 6.41 percent to QR16.20 and United Development Company down 0.58 percent to QR17.20.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 0.39 points while the Insurance sector added 2.88 points. The Qatar industrial sector up 0.18 points and the Services sector fell 0.43 points. (QNA)
