A patrol team of the Ministry of Environment went chasing a baby cheetah and caught it yesterday after it escaped from a cage in a house in Al Sakhama in Al Shamal, north of Qatar. Al Shamal Police alerted the ministry’s control room about the beast on the prowl. The ministry handed over the cheetah to the zoo and launched an investigation to trace its owner and how the animal escaped.
