Pakistan Education Centre held the ‘Annual Food Festival’ at its premises recently. This yearly feature of the school is held to convey positive messages to the young students about food, with plenty of colour and hands-on cooking. It also aims at transforming young people’s approach to eating portraying the famous slogan, “Health is Wealth”.
The children set up stalls with various food items such as pastries, chocolates, jellies, juices, pasta, noodles, biryani, carrot halwa, Kashmiri tea, various fruit salads and green salads.
The Principal Nargis Raza Otho opened the fiesta by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. She lauded the great zeal and zest among the students for the event.
“It has always been an encouraging factor to bring about an awareness of love, co-operation, and kindness to promote brotherhood among the young students as part of the curriculum through such events. It will surely help the children to inculcate feelings of love, warmth, care, smiles of joy for each other,” she said while visiting the stalls set up by the students.
