Doha, Qatar: The Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited Thursday evening the National Command Center of the Ministry of Interior.
At the beginning of the visit, HH the Amir was briefed on the crisis and emergency management system and the mechanisms for immediate response to various developments, including rapid response plans and raising levels of readiness.
HH the Amir also reviewed the monitoring, surveillance and follow-up systems, as well as the mechanisms supporting decision-making in exceptional circumstances, in a way that enhances comprehensive national readiness, ensures the continuity of vital services, and maintains security and stability in the country.
HH the Amir praised the efforts exerted by the personnel of the Ministry of Interior, appreciating their constant readiness to perform their national duty in safeguarding the security and safety of the homeland.
