KHARTOUM: Sudan’s state intelligence agency ordered that the chief editor of a respected daily newspaper be suspended, the editor said yesterday, a rare action against such a prominent journalist. Al Nour Ahmed Al Nour, who led the Al-Sahafa daily, told AFP that the decision appeared to be linked to a dispute over the censorship process.
