DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce caught 152 commercial shops for violating rules of the Consumer Protection Department (CPD) last month.
Fifty-one outlets were caught for not displaying the prices of commodities and services, said a release.
At least 15 shops were found misleading customers, and 14 did not provide details of products.
Eleven shops violated promotion rules and offered discount without taking permission from authorities.
