Gaborone: A 5-magnitude earthquake rocked Botswana Wednesday, with no injuries reported.
The quake occurred in Letlhakane, 255 kilometers north of the capital, Gaborone, in the same remote region that had been struck by a 6.5-magnitude earthquake on Monday, the Botswana's government said.
Wednesday's quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers at 0155 GMT, according to the US Geological Survey.
"It is believed to have been unlikely to have caused much damage," the government said.
Monday's quake was also not reported to have caused significant injuries or major damage in the southern African country.
