Doha: MES Indian School commenced its new academic year 2023-24 on April 2. Children were enthusiastic about meeting their friends, new teachers, and class teachers.
Before the reopening of the school Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal, briefed the teachers on their increased responsibilities during the new academic session and the latest reforms and modifications introduced by the CBSE in the curriculum.
“The school wears a festive look with the beginning of a new academic session as it heralds a host of scholastic and co-scholastic activities earmarked for the entire stretch of the year. Further, it evokes a great sense of homecoming for the students who have been promoted to the next grades,” said the Principal.
Prior to the reopening, a week-long Capacity Building Programme was conducted as part of the preparatory activity for teachers equipping them with updated teaching methodology for effectiveness.
