Kiev - Dynamo Kiev completed a domestic double on Thursday by beating Shakhtar Donetsk on penalties in the Ukrainian Cup final.
Having already finished 10 points clear of Shakhtar to win the league for the first time since 2009, Dynamo won the final 5-4 on penalties after the game at their own Olympic Stadium finished goalless after 90 minutes and extra time.
Sergei Rebrov's Dynamo survived having Sergei Rybalka sent off late in extra time and then also managed to win the shoot-out despite trailing 3-1 after Portuguese duo Miguel Veloso and Gabriel Antunes both failed to convert their attempts.
It is their 11th Ukrainian Cup.
