Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) benchmark index dropped 40.88 points, or 0.46 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 8,895.64 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 13.01 million from 9.82 million on Monday and the value of shares decreased QR288.48m from QR290.70m on Monday.
Out of the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 42 saw trading yesterday. Of these 32 gained and 10 companies closed lower, yesterday. Indices of four sectors ended in green and remained three sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index lost 0.46 to 14,917.46 points, reports QNA.
QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added 0.72 percent to 3.528.50 points and QSE All Share Index decreased -0.31 percent to 2,534.10 points.
