Participants in the 250th meeting of Ooredoo Toastmasters Club of District 116, Qatar.
Doha: Ooredoo Toastmasters Club of District 116, Qatar celebrated its 250th meeting with great fervour and jubilation on July 2.
Club president Davar Dattawala addressed the gathering and reiterated that the club has achieved the milestone because of its consistency and perseverance. He expressed his gratitude to its members, all past presidents, past ExCom for their dedication and relentless support and contributions so far. It was followed by a presentation on the club’s journey since its inception year.
Founder president of the club distinguished toastmaster Yasir Nainar also addressed the gathering expressing the benefits of how toastmasters can help one achieve excellence as a leader and communicator at professional and personal front.
Ooredoo toastmasters club’s past presidents TM Krishna Kumar, DTM Sheik Iqbal, TM Mammen Thomas, TM Biju George, DTM Jose, TM Stanly Oommen, TM Yoonas Kalathil also shared their personal experiences with the gathering. Their testimonials were truly inspiring as they shared their journey with toastmasters and how the platform helped them discover their dormant potentials. District 116 leaders ,DTM Rajesh VC, TM Ravi Shanker and DTM Sabina addressed the gathering with their encouraging words and gave away token of appreciation to all the past presidents of the club. Coaches TM Sahitya Reddy and TM Kamakshi Gopi were recognised for their efforts and were presented with committed coach awards.
