Doha, Qatar: The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Sunday, July 5, 2026, HE Dr. S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, particularly in the economic field. They also discussed regional developments and their impact on the global economy and energy markets, in addition to several other issues of common interest.
Both sides emphasized the importance of resolving disputes and conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means, which contributes to strengthening security and stability at the regional and international levels.
They agreed to continue enhancing cooperation on several priority issues for the State of Qatar and the Republic of India by activating joint working mechanisms and bilateral committees between the two countries.
