DOHA: Qatar Charity (QC) and Islamic Dawah Organisation have carried out an aid project, benefitting more than 23,000 people affected by floods in Nahr Al Neel state in Sudan.
QC, in coordination with Sudan’s Humanitarian Aid Commission, and the state government delivered food and non-food aid in the presence of local officials, said QC in a statement yesterday.
Ibrahim Zainal, Assistant Executive Director, International Development, QC, said the distribution of aid by QC stems from its fraternal and humanitarian initiatives.
