DOHA: The Torch Doha, member of Leading Hotels of the World has welcomed the winners of the French Cup 2014, Paris Saint-Germain Handball Team, in Qatar.
Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) arranged for its annual training camp to create awareness of culture in the country.
From July 28 until today, the 17 players and staff are staying at the hotel for their summer quarters in Aspire Zone Foundation for the second year in a row, where they are enjoying top quality facilities to get ready for the upcoming season.
Three years ago, the club got their inspiration from Coach, Philippe Gardent, and has become a global sports brand, with values of elegance, excellence and respect. The tour includes training sessions, muscular conditioning, and visits to facilities which will host Qatar 2015 World Handball Championships.
A cooking class by Qatari Chef, Aisha Al Tamimi, was organised by QTA at the hotel.
“We are proud to welcome the players and Al Tamimi to host the cooking class within our Flying Carpet restaurant show kitchen,” said Hotel Manager, Sherif Sabry.
