Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), represented by the Department of Educational Planning, Policies, and Innovation, organised a workshop entitled “Writing Practices and Performance Indicators” as part of its early preparations for the Ministry’s participation in the Qatar Government Excellence Award (Third Cycle 2027).
The workshop was opened by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education H E Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al-Nuaimi in the presence of several leaders, work teams, and excellence representatives.
The workshop covered an introduction to the Qatar Government Excellence Award and the “Irtiqa” assessment tool, mechanisms for preparing and writing practices and performance indicators, practical guidance on collecting evidence and data, and a review of key lessons learned to enhance the readiness of work teams and support the achievement of optimal results.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Director of the Department of Educational Planning, Policies and Innovation Nasser Dawood, commended the efforts of the work teams that contributed to the Ministry winning the Leadership Award in Human Capital Development within the second cycle of the Qatar Government Excellence Award for 2025, stressing the importance of continuing early preparations for the third cycle in 2027, in order to enhance the culture of institutional excellence and innovation, and support the achievement of more accomplishments.
