DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 151.40 points or 1.62 percent to 9,204.92 points from the previous closing of 9,356.32 points.
The volume of the shares up to 7,511,276 from 7,400,375 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR386,978,222.95 from QR343,396,208.09 Wednesday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 2.86 percent to QR146.00, Islamic Insurance lost 2.70 percent to QR54.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 0.30 percent to QR66.30 and Doha Bank down by 3.44 percent to QR50.60.
The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 1.52 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 1.09 points.
The industrial sector was down 2.31 points while insurance sector fell 0.83 points. (QNA)
