Trnava: England football team's life under manager Sam Allardyce started Sunday with a 1-0 over Slovakia, thanks to Adam Lallana's goal he scored with virtually the last kick of the game.
The Liverpool midfielder struck in the fifth minute of added on time in Trnava to snatch all three points for the Three Lions, his low strike creeping under Matus Kozacik.
Lallana's heroics saved England from a frustrating draw at the City Arena, the visitors having dominated possession against 10-man Slovakia. Martin Skrtel was fouled following a series of fouls on Harry Kane.
It took 64 minutes for England to register their first shot on target, through captain Wayne Rooney. He became England's most capped outfield player of all time.
