Over 4.5 million Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in Qatar

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced an update on the country's National Covid-19 Vaccination Program.

In an infographic shared on Twitter, the Ministry stated that total number of vaccine doses administered to date is 4,515,730.

95% of the eligible population (12 years and over) have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. While 88.1% of the eligible population have received two doses of the vaccine. 

Furthermore, 82.5% of the total population have now received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and 76.4% of the total population have received two vaccine doses. 

In the same announcement, MoPH also said: "If you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine but have not yet booked your appointment, act now; get vaccinated to protect yourself and your family, and support the return to normal life as soon as possible."
