Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic seized two vehicles and took legal action against their drivers for racing.
The department took action after a video of the racing was widely shared on social media.
It shared the pictures of the seized vehicles - a Land Cruiser and a Nissan Patrol on its Twitter account.
The authorities called on motorists to abide by traffic laws to protect motorists and pedestrians.
