Doha: The Police Training Institute (PTI) representing the Ministry of Interior signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hemaya Security Services represented by Qatar International Centre for Security and Safety, in the field of training and education. The MoU was signed by PTI Director Brig Dr Mohamed Abdullah Al Mahanna Al Marri and by Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Hemaya Fahad Abdul Rahman Al Khater.
Khaled Omran Al Omran, Deputy Executive Director of the Company, Waheed Hussein Majid Security Adviser, Captain Abdul Aziz Ali Al Mohannadi, In-charge Assistant Director of the Institute and representatives of the Qatar International Center for Security and Safety as well as heads of departments of the institute were present..
The two sides agreed to strengthen scientific, training and research cooperation, curriculum development and education and training programs for Hemaya, improve the efficiency and skills Hemaya employees, in addition to organizing workshops , seminars and exchange visits, publications and scientific journals between the parties.
The PTI Director welcomed the guests from Hemaya to the Institute saying that this MoU will deliver strategic objectives of the Ministry of the Interior emanating from the Qatar National Vision 2030. The Institute has put all its potential.
