Qatar Haj mission begins services in holy sites

Makkah: Qatari Haj Mission began yesterday making  necessary arrangements for pilgrims from Qatar in the holy sites in Saudi Arabia.

The mission, renamed as ‘Office of Qatar Pilgrims Affairs’ in accordance with the official procedures by Saudi Arabia, started its activities with the distribution of tasks on its specialised committees, each according to its role in order to enable the pilgrims from Qatar to perform their rituals easily and conveniently.

The mission had completed preparations immediately after its arrival at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. Qatar Consul-General Khamis Ibrahim Al Muhannadi, who received the mission members at the airport expressed the Consulate’s keenness on providing all means of comfort for the pilgrims.

Al Muhannadi voiced satisfaction over the smooth procedures provided by the various authorities in Saudi Arabia to serve the pilgrims and ensured Qatar Haj Mission’s requirements through the coordination with the official Saudi authorities.

Hajj delegation is composed of several national committees, including the medical, legal, administrative, financial , public relations, services, supervision, inspection and Information Systems.QNA
