Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality (MoM) is stepping up efforts to elevate the quality of services and care for the highly esteemed (senior citizens), ensuring their comfort, dignity, and active participation in community life.
The Ministry’s initiatives aim to streamline government services while optimising public infrastructure to meet the specific needs of senior citizens.
The initiative includes two main pillars: improving government services and enhancing public facilities. These measures reflect Qatar’s broader commitment to honouring its elderly population and providing them with an inclusive, supportive environment, the Ministry said on X account.
The Ministry has introduced several measures at its customer service centers to ensure that the highly esteemed receive exceptional care.
Seniors are provided with direct assistance to complete their transactions and enjoy priority in processing all requests and applications.
In line with modern governance, the Ministry is developing user-friendly digital applications to facilitate transactions, minimising the need for seniors to visit service centers physically.
Additionally, the Ministry organizes collaborative initiatives with the Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan).
