ISLAMABAD: Pakistani border guards killed three militants in a clash erupted last night between the two sides in the southwest of the country.
Security sources said that unidentified gunmen set fire to an oil tanker belonging to the NATO forces near Sibi district of Balochistan.
The driver of the tanker was injured.
The sources added that the gunmen escaped from the scene but the border guards tracked down the militants after receiving the news of their presence in the area of Jindan, which led to a clash between the two sides. Three militants were killed during the clash and one was arrested. (QNA)
