CRIC Qatar to foster solidarity and friendship through sports

Doha: CRIC QATAR, a well-known cricket tournament organisers in Doha, recently held its Annual General Meeting. The new Board of Directors and Board Members were selected during the meeting. 

The meeting began with a welcome speech by Preeti Trivedi, who welcomed the directors and guests. Speaking at the meeting, CRIC Qatar’s Chief Patron and Indian business man M.S. Bukhari congratulated the board of directors and wished the organisation more successful programmes. He also praised Syed Rafi and his team’s dedication and commitment towards encouraging sports in Doha.

Also commenting on the meeting, the Chairman of CRIC Qatar, Syed Rafi, said, “It is always easy to unify people and communities through sports. Sports have a special place in everyone’s hearts because we all love to be active and healthy. It is also a simple but effective instrument to build friendship. CRIC Qatar announced several new initiatives to promote Cricket in Doha, and the aim is to keep the Asian community together through the medium of sports.”

CRIC Qatar’s board member Gadde Srinivas thanked the other directors & guests for attending the event. He briefed them about their new strategy to promote cricket in the region and their upcoming new projects in various fields. 

Singer Shiva Priya enthralled everyone with her music, and the event also marked the music video launch of Mohinder Jalandhary’s “Salame Hundia” Punjabi album.

The Vice President of ICC, Vinod Nair praised Syed Rafi’s efforts in bringing the Asian communities together through sports. Mementos were presented to members who have served the community through sports promotion.
