Gazprom to discuss gas supply to China

MOSCOQ: The issues of gas supply to China are to be discussed later in the day at Gazprom major at the corporation level, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told a briefing here on Wednesday.
 
In his words during the current round of talks on "dialogue over energy" between Russia and China gas supply options from the Russian Federation to China were discussed including the Western and the Eastern gas transportation corridors, according to (Itar-Tass) news agency.
 
These are not mutually exclusive supply options, Dvorkovich emphasized, the case is about timeframes and the consecutiveness of commissioning new gas transportation corridors.
 
The Deputy Prime Minister also promised that the Eastern option envisaged LNG supplies and gas transportation by pipelines. (QNA)
